Jae K 5 STAR RATING Reviewed July 26, 2016 Wow vertical Intense ski hill for real skiers, not good for beginners as the only green run is a connector. East coast blacks are blues here and sustained for over 5,000 feet. Seems like all the runsare steep and only difference b/n blues and blacks is the blues are more groomed - they are seemingly black runs compared to any east coast ski hill. No one here complains the lifts close early and there are not lights. You are toast after lunch with burning legs, and once you chugg a few pints, its over, take the connector green run back to the Sutton. I wasnt there for night life so no comments on that, its pure skiing. You meet a lot of Europeans and when I was there there were many I met from Europe, and from Banff and other BC resorts. I was told a couple had flown in from Switzerland for the week and rented a villa for 100K with heli pad, I guess this place must be a bucket list type place - it sure looked like it, I will be going back every chance I get (ie, when my buddy invites me and I have enough air miles for my flight) ...Read More

Breckenridge - Perfect ski town

Aleesha K 5 Star Review Reviewed May 7, 2018 Breckenridge, with its five mountain ski areas, is the perfect family ski destination. There is plenty of terrain for all skill levels to enjoy! With ski school and green trails on both peaks 8 and 9 and my favorite intermediate blues on 7 and 9. There are bowels at the top of peak 6 and 8 and expert trails all around from 6 to 10. The Gondola access from town to peaks 7 and 8 was a great addition to Breck. But the quaint small miners town dating back to a Victorian era is a treat to enjoy any time of the year day or evening. Breck is so picturesque all nesteled between the surrounding mountains. Take a drive up to the lookout turnout on Ski Hill Rd at night for a beautiful view of the city lights. I have been coming to this place since 1991 for skiing and summer fun as well. Near by Lake Dillion is beautiful with biking trails to and from Breckenridge. Quiet Luxury Amidst a Fantastic Setting

I've stayed at many Relax & Chateux in my days, but this one was particularly spectacular. It's apparently the only ski on/ski off resort in Aspen, and I absolutely loved the location and close proximity to some sweeping mountain views and hiking paths. I stayed at The Little Nill in the summer, and I never knew Aspen to be so breathtaking during the warmer months! The service was fantastic, the cuisine was delicious and if you have a chance to try the Avocado Toast at breakfast, it will blow you away (the best Avocado Toast I'd ever had!). The pool area and wall garden was just beautiful, set amidst the pines with mountains in the backdrop. The fitness center had everything one could need while on vacation but the real stunner was the room. Fireplace, welcome charcuterie and wine, beautiful jacuzzi tub, comfy sitting area and dining area, and really cozy and plush beds. They provided ear plugs on the bedside table for light sleepers like myself, which is a really nice touch. Most hotels don't think about the outside noise that can really disrupt a good nights sleep from those who wake up to even the slightest car or chatter outside. I loved that I was able to sleep so well here and that they provided those, nice touch! The staff were so knowledgable about the area, guiding me where to go to cycle and take the best pictures. Most importantly, do not leave The Little Nell without doing one of their adventure tours! Their sunset adventure ride was something out of a movie scene, where we saw wildlife and drove to the top of the mountain to experience the most breathtaking views with a glass of champagne. Sutton Place Hotel - Above and beyond (way above)

We are SO HAPPY WE DID. We discovered a Hotel that claims that they will exceed your expectations (what else is new...) but then DELIVERS on that claim! Case and point, my 17 month old saw a balloon in a display case and the staff heard us saying we were going to go buy him one... They feared the shop was already closed, so before we got to the shop to see it was in fact closed, Chris cuts us off at the pass and shows up with two balloons! We come down to ask a question to the concierge and he offers us wine tastings... I say wow what did we do to get this, we are then told, no we offer FREE Winetastings daily... it goes on and on, tons of little extras start adding up after a while and you realize this hotel still REALLY cares and has that culture instilled into the employees who constantly look to pleasantly surprise you! Of course having a Mountain Ski resort ski in and out attached to the Hôtel + a Spa and 3 Jacuzzis and heated pool is a huge plus but you will be back for the service! ...Read More

But we are here to say that socks really do matter, and the wrong pair can really screw up your backcountry tour or your day banging out chairlift laps. So whether you’ve never given much thought to them, or have been too loyal for too long to your favorite brand, it could be time to reevaluate. Furthermore, feet vary a lot, and personal preference is also a big factor. Some of us like the thinnest sock possible, while others prefer more cushioning. Some really value easy on / off, while some of us will put in a bit more effort getting the socks on in order to get a very tight, secure fit. 2018-2019 Renoun Z-Line 90
