Today through Sunday - The next shot for significant snow to Bogus Basin is Saturday and into Sunday as a strong looking storm with plenty of moisture takes shape and moves through the Northwest US. A powder day is possible on Sunday!

Monday and Tuesday - High pressure ridges in, with chilly temperatures lingering and northwest breezes, drier air. Meteorologist/ Chris Manly

LONGER RANGE OUTLOOK: Expect a return to high pressure ridging across the western US, mostly dry for the west coast including Bogus Basin, some storms still clipping southern BC/ North Idaho at times. Colorado will still see some snow storms after the 7th, with the northern resorts and resorts along the divide being more favored then (Alberta Clipper type systems, northwest flow). At this time, big storms return to the central and eastern US. This mostly dry pattern may last for 10 days or so, through mid-December, but snow is coming back, and good after that.
(on Track...) -->Expect a colder and more snowy winter for Bogus Basin this season. I am still thinking an early opening on great early season conditions. We are in a neutral ENSO pattern (no El Nino or La Nina), leaning to La Nina this winter 2019-2020 I would say. This should produce favorable weather patterns to deliver regular snowfalls to southern Idaho and Bogus Basin, also extending north into British Columbia for Revelstoke and Kingfisher Heli!
